The counter-culture "flower children" of the 1960's settled in Lewis County, finding it to be one of the friendliest of all the places visited.  The Farm is still flourishing as the "flower children" have become parents and grandparents.  The Farm is home to many businesses and non-profit organizations, as well as a private school, community store and many beautiful natural areas.  Over the last 35 years, The Farm has become well known for many things, from natural childbirth and midwifery to healthy diet and vegetarian cuisine, creative arts and alternative technologies to its partnerships and assistance to native cultures.  Open to the public daily 9-5 pm.   931-964-3574 http://www.thefarmcommunity.com/
