Napier Lake, a man-made lake and resort area dating from the 1930's, was once popular as a weekend getaway for people from Nashville. The lake is located on the Napier Road just off the Natchez Trace Parkway. It is a beautiful drive to this remote natural area. A beautiful sight visible from the road, at this time, the lake is not open to the public.
