The Oktober Heritage Festival is a great time to celebrate the unique founding and settling of Hohenwald! Great food, music, arts and crafts and fun for all ages is what you will find at our festival.
Oktober Heritage Festival
The annual Hohenwald Oktober Heritage Festival that is held on Main Street in downtown Hohenwald will happen October 11th and 12th, 2024.
One-of-a-kind celebration
Oktober Heritage Festival is a one of a kind event as we endeavor to highlight and celebrate our unique heritage that was influenced by the Chickasaw Indians, folks from Appalachia and the Swiss/Germans who settled here.
And, don't forget Meriwether Lewis
Lewis County is named after the notable explorer making it a national monument to Meriwether Lewis. Captain Lewis met his untimely death here and his grave is marked with a beautiful monument right in the center of the county.
