A pleasant drive in the countryside to the annual Lavender Festival at Oak Grove Lavender Farm. Several vendors offer honey, crafts, jams, soaps and snacks. I bought lavender chapstick. I picked a nice bouquet of fresh lavender for $10. It was worth it. This might become a yearly tradition for me!
